Weekly Dig

The weeks seem to be flying by lately. I can't believe it is Monday again. It is a rainy cool day here and we have all the windows open to let that crisp Fall air sweep through the house.
Instead of a list of things we dig this week, I have a collection of photos from the week of our parent's chickens because yes, we dig chickens and I especially dig the Silkies they now have. It is amazing how small they are but really tend to hold their own with the rest of the flock. All their feathers are intact and they do not take any guff from any of the other chickens. If only we could have a small flock of chickens at the condo. We have been tempted many times to "see how it would work out or if anyone would really notice or say anything". Even just two laying hens would be nice. But I am not sure about Waukesha's chicken ordinances. A couple can still dream though. But at least we can visit these lovies whenever we want.
